Refund Policy

At GETMONEY, we strive to provide secure, reliable, and efficient fintech services including AEPS (Aadhaar Enabled Payment System), DMT (Domestic Money Transfer), and BBPS (Bharat Bill Payment System). This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be processed.

1. Core Refund Principle

GETMONEY acts as a financial transaction facilitator. Once a transaction is successfully processed through banking or partner networks, it cannot be reversed automatically.

Refunds are only applicable in cases where:

  • The transaction fails but the amount is debited, or
  • The service is not delivered due to system or technical issues.

2. Refund Eligibility

A. Failed Transactions

If:

  • Amount is debited from user account
  • Transaction status shows failed / pending / not processed

Then:

  • Refund will be initiated automatically within 5–7 working days
  • Depending on bank or payment partner timelines

B. AEPS Transactions

Cash withdrawal or balance inquiry failures where amount is deducted:

  • Refund processed after reconciliation with bank/NPCI
  • Timeline: 5–10 working days

C. DMT (Money Transfer)

If transaction fails at bank end:

  • Refund processed after confirmation from beneficiary bank

If transaction is successful:

  • No refund allowed (as funds already credited)

D. BBPS (Bill Payments)

If bill payment fails but amount is deducted:

  • Refund processed within 3–7 working days

If bill is successfully paid:

  • Refund must be requested directly from the biller (as per BBPS rules)

3. Non-Refundable Cases

Refund will NOT be applicable in the following cases:

  • Incorrect details entered by user (wrong account number, mobile number, bill ID, etc.)
  • Successful transactions processed through AEPS, DMT, or BBPS
  • Delays caused by banks, NPCI, or third-party service providers
  • Transactions marked successful in system logs
  • User negligence or unauthorized sharing of credentials

4. Transaction Disputes

If a user believes a transaction is incorrect:

  • Raise a complaint within 48 hours
  • Provide:
    • Transaction ID
    • Date & Time
    • Amount
    • Issue description
  • Our support team will investigate and respond within 3–5 working days.

5. Refund Processing

  • Refunds are credited to the original source account
  • If not possible, refund will be processed via bank transfer
  • Processing time: 5–10 business days after approval
  • Any applicable bank/payment gateway charges may be deducted

6. Third-Party Dependency

GETMONEY relies on:

  • Banks
  • NPCI
  • Payment gateways
  • Billers

We are not responsible for delays caused by these entities, but we ensure proper follow-up for resolution.

7. Fraud & Misuse

Any fraudulent activity or misuse of services will lead to:

  • Immediate suspension of account
  • No refund eligibility
  • Legal action if required

8. Changes to Refund Policy

GETMONEY reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time. Updated policies will be published on the official website.
